Jump In, The Water's Great!
Suntan lotion and sun block often end up in the pool after they're applied to a swimmer, and these substances can make the pool dirty quite quickly. Throwing a standard tennis ball into the pool to float for a while will suck up all those extra oils and chemicals that don't belong in the pool. It's fine to leave the tennis ball floating in the pool at all times.
We love our furry members of the family just as much as you love yours, but when they swim expect your pool to be a bit dirtier than normal. With extra build up of hair in the skimmer baskets and filter, it can add extra stress to your pool equipment that may need more maintenance to keep things in order. Additional chemicals may be necessary as well to help keep water chemistry balanced.
Water gets splashed out of your pool from use, obviously, but it also evaporates from the heat of the sun. Keeping your water level at mid tile line helps your system run at its best and prevents stress or even damage to your pumps. If you notice you're adding more than usual, or have concerns about excessive water loss, notify your TxT Team !
Emptying out your skimmer basket may not be enough once a week with service, especially if you have many trees or lots of foliage around your pool. Keeping them empty between service will not only help keep your pool circulating well, but will also relieve stress on your pumps and filtration system.
Keeping your pool deck clean is helpful to your pool in multiple ways. Regular maintenance between service helps with keeping foreign objects from creeping into your pool. A deep clean will help with the build up of disease and bacteria, hence why it can be sometimes slippery. Call on your TxT Team to help disinfect it regularly!
